Chesterfield 0-1 Bradford: Match Report - view commentary, squad, and statistics of the game as it happened.Clarke delivers birthday treatA spectacular second-half goal by Billy Clarke earned Bradford a 1-0 victory over 10-man Chesterfield.Clarke celebrated his 27th birthday with a great finish shortly after Sam Morsy had been sent off in the 48th minute.Bradford should have taken the lead in the sixth minute when Jon Stead was unmarked six yards out, but he put his header over the crossbar, while Armand Gnanduillet was also off target for Chesterfield in the 13th minute.Jimmy Ryan had a 20-yard shot held by City goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Mark Yeates fired narrowly wide of the Chesterfield goal in the 40th minute.The home side were reduced to 10 men in the 48th minute when Morsy was dismissed after he appeared to catch Andy Halliday with his arm.Bradford took advantage in the 57th minute when Clarke turned and scored with a superb strike from just outside the box.City missed two great chances when Stead hit the outside of a post from four yards and Filipe Morais shot straight at home goalkeeper Tommy Lee.Jay O'Shea was denied by an acrobatic save from Pickford, but Bradford held firm through six minutes of stoppage time to claim the points
