The Sunday Review

Yes we looked tired, it was a dour performance against a side that are looking promotion candidates with good players. Too many of our players were off their stride, they looked like they had just done 120 minutes of football with a penalty shootout to boot and sadly you cannot afford to sit on your laurels in this league. I would have thought that Roy Mac would have started with a different team to Wednesday night, when the call to make changes would have been advisable Roy started with the same team bizarrely enough, even when chasing the game Roy made a defensive/midfield sub instead of an attacking one, maybe we were just happy to let this one go, but I hate losing at home and we have lost too many this season already in my eyes.

Tranmere Manager Ronnie Moore said on Team Talk.com.

"It was nice to see Gareth score and it was a great finish.

"He's not been firing on all cylinders, but that's because he's had a knock and I know myself that when one goal goes in three or four more will soon follow”. I know we are moving in the right direction and we have to believe we are good enough, but we are not going to get carried away”.

Roy McFarland commented on Team Talk.com

“We gave the ball away a lot and that's just not like us. I didn't think we dealt with their front two very well and to be honest I thought the whole team from the goalkeeper to the outside left was poor”.

I thought yesterdays Green Un was more alarming it had on the front cover us winning 2-0 and Aaron Downes OG and Gareth Taylor scoring plus Chris Greenacre was there something I missed.
What's more concerning me at the moment though is why is Roy still using phrases as ”outside left”

Forest next week remember your tin hats.
