The Football Association has fined Chesterfield £2,000 for their part in the players' melee during the local-derby against Rotherham United last December.
The club admitted the charge and as well as the fine have been warned as to future conduct.
Meanwhile, Rotherham United have been fined £2,500 for the same incident after denying any breach to the rules.
