NEWS FROM THE REC

Everything in the Saltergate garden appears to be rosy at the mo. Campbell-Ryce, Clingan, the manager and assistant all want to stay at the club. We have a Australian under-21 international in the mist and possibly a new site for the new ground.

Where do we start saturday's game against Wednesday was very good and I covered it before so I shall move on, Jamal Campbell-Ryce has a further three or four games with us and then we shall see if he stays or goes back to Charlton Athletic. Sammy Clingan's loan spell finishes after saturday's match against Blackpool so once again we shall see.
Roy Mcfarland and Lee Richardson have been offered two more years with the club after their current deal finishes. Stability I like it.

We have drawn Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup first Round at Glanford Park which will be tough against current League Two leaders. One small gripe with the club is that they are selling tickets on a first come first served basis I would personally let Season Ticket and Shareholders have first pick but the decision isn't mine. Tickets go on sale on saturday from the ticket office priced at £14 for adults and £8 for yong uns. We have 1500 tickets allocated with the possibility of 500 more if they sell out.

Mark Hudson is possibly two weeks away from fitness and Kevin Dawson Who knows?

Oh at the start of this newsbeat I mentioned that everything in the Saltergate garden is rosy, we have only won one game in the last eight! As you can see this comment is right at the bottom of the page and this is where it will stay.
