Injuries Hit Spireites Today

Injuries to Steve Blatherwick, Rueben Hazell and Mark Allott were ruled out of today's match at Belle Vue. Blatherwick and Allott were known about but a late injury to Hazell forced Roy Mac to put O'Hare and Downes play at Centre Halves position. Colin Larkin was dropped to the bench and we played Jamie O'Hara in the centre midfield position.
We started with 4-5-1 formation (yet again?) and we went 1 down. Larkin came on for Smith at Half Time and the Chief scored his ninth of the season and his 200th career goal.
Sammy Clingan left the field in tears and I hope we see him back soon although unlikely if he wants three grand a week.

We hope to have Kevan Hurst back next week to report on. Things may just be turning the corner our way.
