Thomas Hitzlsperger who played on loan for the Spireites in 2001, has hinted that a move to VFB Stuttgart is likely. The German international's contract runs out in the summer with Aston Villa and he's not getting enough games in the first team which will effect his international appearances with the World Cup coming up.
Hitzlsperger joined Villa from Bayern Munich in 2000 and then manager John Gregory loaned the german along with Stefan Moore to Saltergate. "The Hammer" then went on to make six appearances for the Spireites.
Also in the World of Football Ady Boothroyd ex-stag has become manager of Watford, expect to see them appearing at Saltergate in the near future.
