Following on from the Wayne Allison news yesterday, the Spireites Board has agreed new deals with four more players. The deals are as follows, Derek Niven, Adam Smith and Gareth Davies have agreed to stay for another two more years whilst Steve Blatherwick will be a Spireite player for another season with an option for another season after that.
Spireites captain Shane Nicholson who broke down in training this week, will have to wait until the end of the season to see if he is offered a new contract.
All of this is positive news with the Spireites in a disastrous run of form this can only be good for the remainder of this season and the coming few years.
