The 20-year-old versatile defender has signed a one year contract at Saltergate following his release by the Gunners at the end of last season.
“Alex has been highly recommended as a prospect able to play League One football and we are pleased to give him the chance to do that with Chesterfield,” manager Roy McFarland told the clubs official website.
