Contract News

Aaron Downes today has been rewarded with a new two year contract which will start 1st July 2005, he duly signed the deal and we can look forward to a future Australian International in our ranks. Downes has played in two competitions for the Socceroo's this season and has the plaudits crowing with his assured performances. He has played ten times for the Spireites this season and scored two goals although he has not been convincing he is only 19 years old.

Two other bits of news regarding contracts, Caleb Folan and Locally born Gareth Davies have been offered one year deals. We await the decisions of the two players.
