Chesterfield's Burton-born striker Craig Davies could see his place in the side come under threat against his home-town club.
The 15-goal forward has not scored since New Year's Day.
Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby: "We're trying to do enough work with the boys to make sure they don't look at the table.
"They're a top-of-the-table team and it will be a good atmosphere - we are not a relegation side.
"We'll go against the side in which we've done the double over [once in the FA Cup] and take the positive from that."
