THREE international call ups Wow! ok one of the players in not technically our player but he's here till January at least. Last season we nearly had the Kyle Critchell (Wales U21) v Jamie Ward (N Ireland U21) until Ward got injured and scuppered that battle. As for previous international call ups my memory goes back as far as Mark Williams for the Full national N Ireland team and Kevin Davies for the England U19 squad anyone. If I'm thinking sparingly I suppose Gerry Armstrong was called up for the 1986 World Cup squad for N Ireland whilst under contract with the Spireites and Sean O'Neill made the last 40 for the NI 1982 World Cup Squad but that's it so to have three is champion stuff.

Newcastle United take on the enemy on Saturday at the Stadium of Plight 12.45pm kick off, sadly I'll be forced to miss the game as I will be up at the ground for ours but I shall make sure that I get regular updates on the Toon goals.......(who put the ball in mackems net O'Brien O'Brien) to the tune of any old iron and in reference to Andy O'Briens' winner at the SOS a few years back. Good Luck Mags and Good Luck Spireites of course.
